Information
If you're anything like me, you're more comfortable behind the camera, instead of in front of it.
Yes, I'm a professional photographer, but I'm also a mom. Like you, I have so many photos of my kids, but far fewer of me with my kids.
There are lots of reasons why we shy away away from the camera, or convince ourselves next year will be better, but it's so important that we exist in photos for our children, as we are now.
When we're gone, our children will cherish every single photo of us. I promise you this; I know from personal experience.
And you deserve photos of you and your kids.

To truly see your family is hugely fulfilling for me, and I never take it for granted. To photograph your family dynamic, the way your older children have boundless energy and hardly stay still, or the way your littlest one clings to you and doesn't leave your side...
These every day moments are your story, and they deserve to be documented. They are beautiful.

I love photographing families as they are naturally, and how you are naturally together.
Little ones are often hesitant to have their photo taken, and I don't blame them. It can be a scary experience. I go at their pace and ease into the session. I let kids be kids. I have no interest in pressuring your kids to be perfect for photos. It's just not going to happen, and that's okay.
Instead, we talk, we have fun; they show me their rock collection, or whatever it is they love, and I listen and learn, and I take beautiful photos along the way.
Building up this trust with them often means they grant me permission to enter into their world. That's the kind of perfection I'm after.
